These guidelines help maintain a safe, respectful, and creative environment for all users. By participating in our community, you agree to follow these guidelines alongside our End User License Agreement.

General Community Rules

Be Respectful

• Treat all users with kindness and respect
• No harassment, bullying, or personal attacks
• No discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
• Constructive criticism is welcome; destructive behavior is not

Be Authentic

• Use your real identity or a consistent username
• No impersonation of other users, staff, or public figures
• No fake accounts or multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

Stay On Topic

• Keep discussions relevant to games, content, and platform features
• No spam, excessive self-promotion, or off-topic content
• No unsolicited advertising or commercial promotion

Content Standards

What's Allowed

• Original games and creative content
• Constructive feedback and reviews
• Educational content about game development
• Community discussions about gaming and creativity

What's Not Allowed

Illegal Content

• Content that violates any laws or regulations
• Copyright infringement or unauthorized use of others' work
• Content that promotes illegal activities

Harmful Content

• Violence, gore, or graphic content that could harm minors
• Content that promotes self-harm or suicide
• Malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Content designed to exploit or harm users

Inappropriate Content

• Sexualized content involving real people
• Content depicting minors in sexual contexts
• Non-consensual sexual content (real or implied)
• Content glorifying sexual violence
• Extreme fetish content involving bodily waste or harm

AI-Generated Content

• AI-generated imagery designed to resemble real people is not allowed
• Clearly label AI-generated content when required
• Respect intellectual property rights in AI training

Age-Appropriate Content

General Audience (13+)

• Content suitable for teenagers and adults
• Mild violence and themes are acceptable
• No explicit sexual content

Mature Content (18+)

• Content with mature themes must be clearly labeled
• Sexual content must be fictional/illustrated, not involving real people
• Extreme violence or disturbing themes must be properly marked

Reporting and Moderation

How to Report

• Use the report button on content or comments
• Contact us directly at support@playfly.com for serious violations
• Provide specific details about the violation

Our Response

• We review all reports promptly
• Violations may result in content removal, warnings, or account suspension
• Serious violations result in permanent account suspension with no appeal
• We may freeze or refund transactions for accounts in violation

Appeals Process

• Most moderation decisions are final
• Contact us if you believe there was an error
• We will review appeals on a case-by-case basis

Creator Responsibilities

Content Quality

• Ensure your content works as described
• Provide clear installation instructions
• Test your content before publishing
• Respond to user feedback constructively

Community Engagement

• Interact respectfully with your audience
• Address concerns and feedback professionally
• Don't engage in harassment or abuse

Payment Processing Compliance

• If you collect money, follow all payment processor terms
• Ensure your content complies with Stripe, PayPal, and other processor policies
• Violations may result in payment processing suspension

Privacy and Data

User Information

• Never share private user information publicly
• Don't automatically sign users up for mailing lists
• Obtain explicit consent before collecting personal data
• Respect user privacy and data protection laws

Communication

• Use provided tools for legitimate communication only
• No unsolicited messages or spam
• Respect user preferences for communication

Enforcement

Violations and Consequences

• First offense: Warning and content removal
• Repeated violations: Temporary account suspension
• Serious violations: Permanent account suspension
• Payment violations: Account suspension and transaction freezing

No Second Chances

• Violations of our most serious policies (sexual content involving minors, non-consensual content) result in permanent suspension
• No appeals process for the most serious violations
• Funds may not be eligible for payout on suspended accounts

Updates to Guidelines

We may update these guidelines to address new challenges or clarify existing rules. We will notify users of significant changes through:

• Email announcements
• Updated documentation
